Yesterday we spent our first night in our new home and today Otto helped me move some of the bigger stuff over. Afterwards he celebrated by kicking my ass in Scrabble. Bastard.
My first two yard birds were Vermillion Flycatcher and Macgillivray’s Warbler, a very auspicious beginning. Today I also saw Common Raven, Greater Roadrunner, Lesser Goldfinch, House Finch, Western Kingbird, Say’s Phoebe, and… our new chickens!!
As soon as I get a little more settled and find my camera, I’ll take some pics for ya’ll.
